Marica Hase is a Japanese gravure model, AV idol and pornstar. She rose to prominence making JAV videos in Japan but later transitioned to making porn in America. On 31 March 2012, she announced that she will be working as a pornographic actress overseas.
Now there are many AV idols active as non-pronographic actress in Japan and some of them also in overseas. But it is very rare for Japanese AV actress to work as pornographic actress outside of Japan, because of the language barrier or the difference in agency. So she is almost the first Japanese pornographic actress working other than Japan.
